Modern architecture has a multitude of tendency, one of which is moving toward a place that can be visited, viewed, inhabited, and lifted spirit. Mountain art museum hopes to show the space that easy to remember, or the experience that never had.
The unique feature of mountain art museum lies in the fact that apart from being away from the city, most of the buildings are built in the mountains so as to protect mode of construction with combination of natural environment and surrounding scenery. It is built in the mountains near the Great Wall. If viewed from distance, exposed parts are perfectly integrated with nature, which like grow from rocks. It is hidden in the mountains and nature to maintain the proper harmony.
A mountain, a valley, and buildings hidden in the mountains, many ancient Chinese literary and painting works revolve around the theme: walk through a long, curving trail to a mountain cottage where hides in the quietness with accompany of wind.That is, far away from the earth fairyland, it;s difficult to arrive there, which is the journey of seekers.
