People have been looking for the most suitable space for thinking, and the project is a meditation space for thinking design. In my opinion, the most suitable environment for thinking is not immutable. Buildings give people different experiences in space. The same human senses also give people different feedbacks and feelings of repression, confusion, cheerfulness, and spiritual guidance. Modern people are always thinking about life. Whether on the way to school or commuting to work on the subway, it can be said that it is an all-time reflection. However, people have a momentarily short-term thinking because such a large environment can not make people think one thing in-depth, and more people choose to default their lives and try to escape and deceive themselves.
what I want to design is also a space for understanding this truth. We can not tell how long our hard life is. We always complain about that happy times are always short, but we should want to accept it instead of being immersed in it. In this space, no matter how old you are or whether your knowledge is profound, or even you do not know meditation at all, it will give you a reflexive environment.
In this design, I’ve created an irregular space, of which every step is full of unknowns. Because this design approach is very different from previous ones, in the process I fully employ hand-painting to avoid some
habitual constraints of design software, expressing myself without any delay.
