This project is an old building renovation project. This is the first project I came to RISD. The project is located in the park of Rhode Island. The building has been in existence for more than 100 years and was once a small room for storing seal food. So called the seal house, after field measurement and modeling, we gradually have our own concept.

Because this is a century-old building and part of the park, the internal functions no longer exist, so we hope to protect the facade of the building. In a sense, it protects the original features of the building. Transforming the building into a Small museum about the history of the park.

There are four small buildings and one main road around the building. We have selected two points from the main road and added the perspective of the four buildings. So we cut the lines from six angles and got a body. We will use this body and architecture. Tightly combined, the four historical buildings can be seen from the four windows in the body. At the same time, when you stand on the main road, the angle just can't see the newly seen body, and you can see the original appearance of the building.
